Taste of Montclair supporter Anthony’s Cheesecake is donating all tips collected now through Sunday April 10 to help rebuild the Montclair Township Animal Shelter. A fire on Sunday April 3rd destroyed the rear portion of the building. All animals were rescued and are presently being fostered in surrounding communities.
In the past, owners Anthony Lauro and Phil Byrne have run similar efforts to raise money to help others locally as well as across the country. As is usually the case with Anthony’s customers, once word spreads of the project, people start to put extra money in the jar near the register. With this kind of support, the shelter will be rebuilt in no time!
Everything Anthony’s sells is made right at their Washington Street location in the New Bloomfield Center. In addition to cheesecake, breakfast and lunch is served daily. Menu for dinner service changes weekly. Weekend brunch at Anthony’s is very popular as well.
Anthony’s Cheesecake is at 71 Washington Street Bloomfield, directly across from the new parking deck.
The Montclair Rotary Club is proud to call Anthony’s Cheesecake a friend.
